These special gift baskets are lovingly curated by Shauna Meyer-Reimers, a recent cancer survivor who lost her mother to breast cancer in childhood. A quarter-century ago, she was a pioneer in the preventive treatment for women with the BRCA-1 gene mutation. Supported by her physician and medical team, she successfully fought her insurance company to be awarded full coverage for a double mastectomy and hysterectomy. Decades later, she was diagnosed with and successfully treated for advanced peritoneal cancer.
